Meet Myron K. Jamerson
Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Myron is a passionate preacher, gifted psalmist, and proud North Carolina transplant now thriving in the vibrant community of Sanford in Lee County.
Back in 2011, a bold vision took root in Myron’s heart to build a ministry where the love of God wasn’t just preached but lived out loud. That vision turned into reality on November 27, 2011, when “The Rock Church” held its very first service in the dining room of his home.
For Myron, the love of God isn’t just a message. It’s the movement. His teaching style is raw, real, and rooted in the unshakable truth that God’s love can’t be earned, and it absolutely can’t be lost. He carries a powerful voice to the voiceless, reaching people who feel unseen and reminding them that purpose is not only possible, it’s waiting for them.
After serving more than 22 years in the U.S. Army, Myron retired in 2014. Since then, he has taken the gospel global, ministering as both a preacher and psalmist with one mission in mind:
To preach and teach until they see Jesus.
He is the real deal. Humble, Spirit-led, and full of fire.
Myron is happily married to Sabrina, and together they are raising a beautiful family of five: Kelsey, Kareem, Ashley, Yeshua, and Noah. They are also proud grandparents to one sweet granddaughter, Alessia.
Meet Sabrina Katharina Jamerson
Originally from Heilbronn, Germany, Sabrina is a vibrant woman of faith whose story is marked by bold redemption, fierce love for God, and unstoppable purpose. Her journey is powerful. After walking away from her faith and surviving an abusive Islamic relationship, Sabrina found her way back through the unshakable grace of Jesus Christ. And she has been on fire ever since.
Sabrina has a gift for reaching people right where they are. Whether it’s women, men, or children, her genuine spirit and transparent storytelling draw others in and point them straight to the heart of God.
She pours that same heart into everything she does. From leading Yapha, a ministry that helps people uncover deep spiritual truth, to launching The Rock Closet, a community outreach initiative, to creating the healing space known as 99•4•1, Sabrina lives to make people feel seen, supported, and spiritually awakened.
When God called her and her husband, Myron, to plant Rock City Church in Sanford, North Carolina, her siblings Sara and Terry moved from Germany to the United States to help build the ministry side by side. Together, they have created a vibrant, multicultural church where faith meets real life and everyone has a seat at the table.
Sabrina continues to serve faithfully alongside her husband, Pastor Myron Jamerson, bringing passion, leadership, and a whole lot of love to the vision of Rock City. She is not just living out her faith. She is setting it on fire.
